Root and Nerve Origin

There is varying information as well as research/anatomic dissection work to support the existence of significant variation between individuals with respect to what roots contribute to what portions of the brachial plexus, peripheral nerves, and individual muscles.
Wherever possible, we note this, but keep in mind that the variation between patients may make diagnosis, especially of brachial plexus nerve root level injuries challenging and variable.
